CAD Detailer:
Summary:
This position will interact with the Sales Dept. and customers to develop metal parts that meet or exceed client specifications. Will interpret from customer prints, and then create and release product drawings and related documentation for CNC operators, Laser-Table operators, Break/Press/Shear/Punch operators and other Warehouse staff in order to carry out the customer orders in a timely manner.

Essential Functions:
• Verify design details and tolerance specifications according to customer specifications. • Detail metal parts and assemblies as required for fabrication. • Create and/or revise accurate, detailed Solid Edge ST9, SOLIDWORKS 2017 design documentation and files as required. • Participate in drawing reviews, prototype builds and verification testing and documentation. • Release drawings and programs to operators and warehouse staff.

Requirements:
• Recent experience and proficiency with 3D Solid Modeling. • Prefer recent skills and experience using Solid Edge ST9 and SOLIDWORKS 2017. • Experience creating detailed engineering/product drawings for the production of metal parts. • Working knowledge of tolerance standards. • Organizational and follow-up skills. • Self-starter. • Thoroughness and attention to details. • Computer skills to include MS Office; Word, Excel, Outlook. • Must have excellent communication skills to interact with other Designers/Drafters, customers and production/warehouse staff to ensure that work is performed according to the designs.

Work Environment:
This job operates in an office environment, routinely using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copier/scanner/fax, etc.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
• This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday, as required to stay on schedule with the fab shop. This position may require overtime while working late through the week or even on a Saturday to see that shop orders are carried out in a timely and efficient manner.

$ 18.00+/per hour depending on experience


Estimator/Project Manager:
• 5 years of experience or more in reading architectural and structural steel blueprints. • Will need to take the steel off these drawings and prepare an estimate using our steel software package. • Will need to continuously gather market information so that he will know where our prices will need to be. • Will need to have an idea about how long it would take to fabricate specific steel items and to be able to give a time line for when various parts of a job can be delivered. • Would need to develop a good working relationship with contractors and vendors, including steel detailing companies and steel erectors. • Non-Smokers only.

PROJECT MANAGER:
• When a job is sold, he will need to manage the job from beginning to end. • Will be the contact person on these jobs for our customers and vendors.

Class A CDL Driver/Warehouse Worker:
DRIVER-Experience:
• CDL – Class A, minimum 1 year experience • We do not want any youthful drivers (under 26) and anyone over 26 should have experience driving either Bobtail or Tractor/Trailer • Tractor/Trailer rig.- flat bed. Operate Air Brakes, Standard Shift-10 Speed, and Manual transmissions. • Ability to back up tractor trailers into the Warehouse • Most driving routes will be in Texas and will bring the driver back home every night. It is very rare that a driver has to spend the night. • Employee will need to be very flexible on their hours (start times and quitting times). This is rarely an 8-5 job and can range from 1:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. depending on the day and where they are sent). • Clear driving record • Hold valid Medical Card • Non-Smoker • Recent drug and alcohol test, along with physical. • Well Presentable

WAREHOUSE-Experience:
• Ability to work in the warehouse on off-days and/or when not driving. • Needs to be physically fit. The warehouse work is pretty grueling. • Ability to operate a Forklift is a plus. • Individual will have to learn steel sizes and be able to check his loads in and out ( read a ruler, read a micrometer) • Know steel gauges converted to decimals (charts will be furnished), etc.


Inventory Control:
Summary/Objective:
The inventory control coordinator position manages inventory through database and maintain levels required on a daily basis to meet distribution demands.

Essential Functions:
1. Enter data for quantities of parts issued and transferred between locations, inventory and cycle count adjustments, into computer database. This may be in the main office and/or an air conditioned area in the shop.
2. Close shop packets received and purge computer database.
3. Receive and issue finished goods into computer database.
4. Troubleshoot quantity discrepancies with manufacturing and inspection personnel.
5. Prepare monthly reports for cycle count and pick-lists count for monthly highlights.
6. Prepare and participate in yearly physical inventory.

Physical Demands:
The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel on knees, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 - 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Required to wear safety gear.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m., or until the job is done.

Required Education and Experience:
Minimum of one year of inventory control experience.
